Role Playing
This online contest works the same way as the Stars Crossed contest in the July isue of GAMES. In the diagram below, each diamond represents a film title and each circle represents an actor. (Note: Throughout these rules, “actor” is used to mean either actor or actress.) Lines connect films with actors who appear in them, not necessarily in a leading role. Note that each film connects to at least two actors, and each actor connects to at least two films. All the films were released between 1998 and 2008, except one that is scheduled to be released later this year.
The numbers in each diamond and circle indicate the number of letters in each word of the film’s title or in the actor’s first and last names. The object of the contest is to identify the three actors and three film titles that are represented by the six question marks in the diagram.
The question marks, from the top down, stood for the following actors and movies:
